The situation arrayed before him was almost cynical in nature. In many ways, it seemed like he had walked into a surreal world of stereotypes. In the distant corner, subtlety illuminated by the glow of various signs, was what he dubbed the rhetorical idiots. The ubiquitous and mysterious figures that skulked in the shadows, keeping their faces hidden whilst attempting to be inconspicuous. Unfortunately, such displayed that they had something to hide and consequently made them conspicuous. If they had anything firmly seated in front of their oxiput, they would be towards the middle mingling and blending in with the crowd. Seated behind him at the bar were the rough housers, a group of loud and generally ill-mannered individuals that commonly took to slamming down their shot glasses on the bar counter.
Then there was the Overseer. Usually some uptight businessman with a few tables of hired thugs that acted as a quasi-Peacemaker. Although it seemed like the Overseer was in fact breaking the usual stereotype and acting alone. Although a quiet nagging doubt in the back of his mind informed him that station security would likely rush to her aid if thing went south for her...
Nothing he hadn't seen before.
Brusquely, Walker rose to his full stature and maneuvered through the chaotic placement of tables to reach his mark.
"I'm here, let's get this over with."
