Kaze smirked somewhat, hearing his explanation.
One guy that was doing the right thing, and got nailed by politics.
A typical story in Liberty.
With a twist.
"I don't participate in hunts, Mr. Walker. I am only here due to my counter-intelligence capacity."
With a flick of a wrist, she lighted up a cigar.
She let those seconds walk on by, slowly. Then she exhaled.
"I can tell you this however. Crazy, madness, suicide, is what the Reavers do for a living, Mr. Walker."
Her eyes looked at his and she inhaled a little bit of that fine corsair cigar.
She missed that a lot in the last months.
"I have seen reports of a single Reaver fighting right in front of Planet Leeds, with at least 40 guns shooting at her, and she, the boss, managed to collect two kills before getting out of that kill zone. That is madness. That is suicidal. And some would say an idiotic action in a very idiotic situation."
Her smirk was evident.
"Guess you are in for a ride then, Mr. Walker."
She slowly opened her jacket and placed a gun on top of the table.
An old LSF Kel-Tec PLR-636 pistol.
It had seen better days, but it was known to be a sturdy and reliable model.
