' Wrote:I know Sina's ban got extended. I linked the same thread above.
What I said was that it got extended several days AFTER I reported, and that I was banned under a ridiculous pretext in under one hour after I made a second report and a second post which proved that he had been posting and that the admins and mods had known about it but done nothing against it for DAYS.
So you're complaining that we actually took more than an hour to debate banning a person on these forums? Weren't you complaining that we ban too much and easily? Which one is it? Every report submitted is discussed and a consensus is reached. Forum reports take longer than server ones too. Going a week without a conclusion is very common for server violations, it's usually even longer for forum ones. In reality, the one on Sina went fairly quickly. If you have a problem with us taking a few DAYS to decide on whether to make someone banned on these forums for 20 days, there are plenty of other forums out there you can go to. Ones that take about 5 minutes and no evidence to decide to go around banning people.
As for you being banned under an hour after you made a second report, the fact that you posted three reports contradicts that claim. You were banned well after making three different reports over the course of two days on a subject we were still trying to discuss. You were banned because of bad forum behavior on the public area of the forums, as was stated in your ban thread. It wasn't a pretext, it was a rather cut-and-dry situation, resulting from other players having reported YOU.
You got banned for breaking the rules. Other players noticed you doing it, and reported you for it, as you did to several others. There is no unfair treatment. You got banned, just as others got banned for the same types of offenses. The length of your ban was the same as the length of bans for similar offenses at that time. You can keep trying to cry foul and conspiracy all you want, but we both know you broke the rules, there is evidence of it, and you got sanctioned, just as Sina did, for breaking those rules.
