hm - i consider such elements like the dome, that do look a bit out of place at first glance - to be the more exciting elements about a model. - its hard to explain...
... the lib dread is - all in all.... an extremely good design. - almost every part simply fits - but i don t see much that i am surprised about. - there is nothing "daring" about it... and what is left is a model that is simply good.
i like more surprising bits though - a model that features something that you simply wouldn t expect - but once you get used to it - its those parts that become "iconic" for it. ( or if you re unlucky - the parts that ruin it in the end - - thats the problem about such an approach )
so - i would insist on that dome - most of the rest is quite generic. - even the fuselage reactor drum which would be a bit steam-punk style when skinned ... is nothing but what you may expect on a freelancer ship.
