Subject: Evolution of Nomads?
Another Young Nomad was found in Minor. I'm not sure but if the computer made a mistake by assigning the following identification: Aeilta-Stone. However, unlike the last one, he showed no hostile intention. We (Me, Lt. Neuman, Agent Johan Lennox from the first fleet and a Member of the second fleet by the name Solar.Snow) were talking to each other, what to do with him. Since the nomad asked specific quiestons, we realized that he somehow broke into our encryption, but only out of curiosity.
Suddenly we were ambushed by an patrol of Bounty-Hunters and could not believe our eyes, as the nomad only attacked the bounty-hunters. This was not tha last surprise the nomad had in store for us. Due to his actions he was allowed to leave Minor, but he was attacked by Order pilots who guarded the Jumphole to Delta and did not listen to the orders of Lt. Neumann or agent Lennox.
The nomad succesfully defended himself. But as soon as the hostility towards him stopped, he flew near to our ships and dropped of the eject-pods of the Order pilots and only then jumped to Delta. The Pilots are now safe on Isis and according to the doctors none of them is infected.
I am not sure, what this means. But it seems like that the nomads are indeed capable of a) distinguishing different human factions b) controlling their agressiv potential c) c) capable of learning d) can value human lives and d) do have a sence of self-preservation
And most importantly it seems that their hate towards humanity is "learnt" and not genetically encodet. Hence it should be possible to teach such young nomads something else but war and hatred. Maybe it is now up to us, so see beyond the grotesque face of war against these aliens and see them as what they are: intelligent and sentient beings.
