This is a message dump to provide notice for the action of this world taken from the ICO perspective and to show our polocy.
Independent Co-Owners is a private security firm owned and run by two people - Damion Wolf and Beowulf Draconis. The company is seperated into four departments: Logistics, Trade, Loss Prevention and Special Applications. Each supports the other when needed and all bodies work to progress the company agenda.
ICO is primaraly made up of Liberty born citizens and our base of operations is located in Alice Springs on planet Manhattan.
Logistics Department: This is one of the largest departments in ICO and covers everything needed to keep the fighting and trading arms of the company working smoothly.
Trade Division: Lead by Trade Leaders, this division is responsible for funding much of ICO's equipment and personnel. The official trade vessel of this division is the Container Transport with Trader IDs.
Loss Prevention: LP is responsible for preventing the loss of company assets. They also take contracts to protect people, places and things. This is the defensive wing of the company but it can support Special Applications in offensive operations, but not go out on its own. Loss Prevention uses fighters and gunboats with Military IDs.
Special Applications: SA is the offensive arm of ICO and is responsible for vigerously hunting down pirates, breaking blockaids, taking out pirate capital ships and taking occasional lawful bounty contracts. They can support Loss Prevention if the need arises and use Captial ship and bombers with Bounty Hunter IDs.
ICO is friendly with all of the Great Houses and holds strong ties to the Bounty Hunters Guild. We openly support any lawful faction when they need help and respond to most SOS calls.

Laws common to all houses:
Counterfeit software, Cardamine, Synthetic Marijuana, Slaves, and pilots of lawful affiliation are contraband
Failing to obey the instructions of a law enforcement officer may result in force being used
Those carrying a criminal identification (such as Corsair, Pirate) will be asked to leave the House systems and destroyed if they refuse
Laws specific to Rheinland
Zero-tolerance policy on pirates. Any person who is, or claims to be, a pirate will be shot on sight
Freelancers and Mercenaries are not permitted to enter Rheinland space. Any who do will be ordered to leave, and shot if they fail to comply
Laws specific to Liberty
Pilots identifying as Smugglers may go about their business provided they are not carrying any contraband
Mercenaries are not allowed within Liberty space without specific clearance from high command
Zone 21 and the Alaska system are reserved for the Liberty military services. Any other craft which enters either of these areas will be destroyed if it refuses to leave. Any Liberty-hostile craft (e.g. Corsair) which enters either of these areas may be engaged and destroyed without warning.
Laws specific to Kusari
Any ship with a Bretonian affiliation (e.g. Bretonia corporation) may be engaged without warning
Laws specific to Bretonia
Any ship with a Kusari affiliation (e.g. Kusari corporation) may be engaged without warning
A ship moving any of the following cargo from Bretonia space to a Tau system will be treated as an enemy combatant:
Ships carrying the above items within Bretonia will be required to drop it off at a Bretonian base - they will be escorted by a Bretonian officer to ensure compliance
Drug smuggling carries fines of $4 million for Cardamine and $1 million for Synthetic Marijuana
The AAR segment should be set up as follows.
Name: The person (name of the character) filling the report
Call Sign / Ship Attached To: This is your nickname or the name of your ship
Time: ICO uses military time, EG 24 hour clock. Our time is based off the MST (Manhattan standard time.)
ex: 1300 MST (1:00PM).
All relevant information on contact with the hostels must be listed in the report. Be clear and concise about what happened. Include the names of the malefactors as well as are allies; all deserve recognition. List their affiliations and any notable actions taken on their part.
All information about the engagement should be included. It is a play by play of the action from start to finish. Be accurate but brief. Include gains, losses, damages and casualties. Include screen shots if possible.
Finally, sign your report.

The key members of ICO are accomplished forum RPers and we, after our AARs, will insert a sometimes lengthy RP segment involving our characters perspectives in the engagement. Non-key members are encouraged to do this but it is not required. Remember, if you do write a RP it is to stay in this dump and not to be transferred over to other dumps.
