Aaron sighed as he heard the click, his gaze moving down the the floor, he took a deep breath before speaking
" I guess i ak not in a position to tell you to believe or do anything , Commandant, and i cannot give you a reason as to why or why not you should believe me."
Aaron looked up again , humbley , he looked at the Commandante and spoke calm, confident words
"The Candlelit Vigil was important to honor our true leader and Ikon Katz. Not that impostor Ling, who took his "liberty" in assuming commands after Katz vanished, unkown to be dead or alive. It was to show our alliegance to the true Ikon of Ikons. When i heard of the vigil being held, i did join about an hour after it started and my father had gone to rest. I had joined a small vigil that had started in my neighborhood, and we marched to soon catch up with the big vigil. So as to answer you directly. I did attend, Comrade Commandant, just not from the very first second, but later."
Aaron looked at the Commandante, he was lowly mumbling to himself making his peace qnd asking his late fathers forgivness if he failed, he fell silent, waiting for the flash
