Patrol districts: New York, Colorado, California & Texas.
Sergeant Law enters the Texas precint wearing the LPI SWAT vest and armaments. The high calibre machinegun which he carries in his hand shows the high risk warrants that he encountered during his patrol. As Sergeant Law heads to the LPI Sergeant quarters, he spots a few friends and starts to talk to them. After a few drinks at the bar and a bit intoxicated, having had a fantastic time he retreats to do his report.:
SWAT was called from Texas for a situation that was occurring in New York: three Outcast capital ships were present. At that time I was in a Patriot and called for backup as I was en route to gather the requisite LPI bomber. The suspects were terminated during the making of the SWAT detail, and I entered back into patrol afterwards.
After the battle I went into the California system to patrol. I found a suspect, a one Jason.Olds in a Lane Hacker gunboat committing piracy on the lanes. After searching his cargo[A] and looking at his information[B), I ordered the suspect to halt at once[C] as the Lane Hacker was running away from law enforcement. After closing the distance the decision was made for Code Red on engagement, as the suspect refused to co-operate.[D] The suspect then engaged in battle when he destroyed a secondary fleet vessel.[E] Not long after I continued to engage the Lane Hacker with the =LSF= agent and successfully penetrated his shields, which then I fired a Liberty Antimatter Cannon to destroy the vessel. I was successful in terminating the suspect, which was a great victory for Liberty forces[F].
Not long after, we headed down the lane and spotted another criminal committing piracy named Abraham. The =LSF= agent and myself ordered the suspect to stop. The suspect's cargo[G] and ID[H] show the suspect's identity. The suspect then refused to leave Liberty space as ordered, and a battle ensued.[I) Suspect then engaged us, however because I did not have the funds to fully equip the vessel, my vessel was destroyed[J] but later salvaged for repairs.
After the SWAT Vessel was successfully salvaged by IND operatives, and repaired by LPI mechanics, I continued patrol. The patrol was relatively standard, stopping vessels for cargo scans, enforcing the embargo and other duties. Not much significant happened that is worth reporting in terms of criminal activity. There was a few minor contraband breaches but other than that nothing warranting further investigation. Texas was scanned in search pattern succinctly, and all embargo running operations were squashed during the patrol.
I then attended to escort LPI-Red.Deer.II to Illinois with another SWAT officer. This operation was successful [K], however because of some technical errors the Deputy Chief Colin Sinclair was unable to enter the base. After finding that problem Red Deer headed to Denver while I zoomed with supersonic sirens back to New York due to an emergency situation that was occurring there with [XA] forces attacking traders. Unfortunately when I arrived the suspects fled to their Xenos base in Colorado, so I continued patrol.
The patrol from that point on again was quite routine. Nothing really for criminal activity occurred that was of notice. I then teamed up with LPI-D.Dusentrieb[L], to embark on continued patrol of Liberty. It was there we found suspect, Liberty Rogue Alexis.Gloverrefuse to stop[L], flying his ship whilst still intoxicated. Pursuit was made[M], however the suspect soon entered the Badlands where pursuit was aborted. The suspect will be charged for the crimes of section 1(5) and section 1(4), flying whilst intoxicated.
After the incident the Lieutenant and I continued patrol into the California system. In the California system after using patrol patterns to ascertain if any criminal activity was present, we spotted a Red Hessian, a one Shroud (ID[N], Cargo[O]). The suspect stated that the pilot was only looking for some weapons and had went through Liberty last time unseen. Because the suspect dropped the civilian hostages when we approached, and was very co-operative we escorted the pilot through California, New York and Texas to the Bering Jumpgate.[P] There we let the pilot go home. It was of much surprise and happiness that later on I spotted the suspect again and found that the suspect was rehabilitated, now a freelancer interested in joining the Bounty Hunter Guild. I was happy to see that our actions were responsible for the wider good and the improved life of that pilot.
We continued patrol and were going to go back to Texas until we spotted an embargo runner, suspect Sunborn (Cargo[Q], ID[R]) of Interspace Commerce attempt to carry Gate/Lane Parts to Rheinland. We followed the pilot to the Hudson Jumpgate and ordered the pilot return or we open fire. The suspect was then educated about the embargo as the pilot claimed ignorance, and then turned around[S], again showing the power of the LPI's job in both educating and informing citizens and enforcing the law. I do not think if I had deployed my SWAT unit however it would have led with the suspect turning away, as the risk of destruction would have been minimised.
Finally, in addendum we allowed the group Judge- to peacefully conduct training operations in Texas, as I was watching their manoeuvres carefully incase of any breach of law however there was none. We gave this permission due to the good natured actions that they were doing in Texas at the time.
