Your computer is loading the necessary files regarding the player you meet in the RAM memory.If you meet a barge,it will take a good ammount of time to load,if you meet a small ship it will take little time to load.The better the PC the faster the loading i guess.

Yes i have it too,and i have a PC capable of maxing FL and playing it at 180 FPS.
