As he supervised the ambitious progress of the Ascension Operation on Wichita, he was pleased to see that the new Nemesis class troopers were on the ground and sent throughout Sirius outposts mainly as infiltrators and assassins. But Dave had even a more darker secret, as he left several months ago into the alternative timeline and space by complete accident, he returned totally changed. While he left Sirius for several months, in his time, he spent more then 10 years.

Dave Synk made contact with a great power there, called The Triumvirate, that was part of a greater intergalactic collective called, The Core Federation. He spent his years in The Triumvirate first as a scientist, what he was in reality, and afterwards he become commander of a legendary batallion called "1st Black Star Commando" or known as BSC. At a time, there appeared some problems inside the Core Federation, some tensions between the groups that forged this alliance. The time was in the brink of the great Vyrr War. While in the Supreme Galactic Council, there were disputes and argues about territorial expansions, some scouts of the Triumvirate detected at the edge of the galaxy, an anomaly. It was that crucial moment when the lives of the entire living beings throughout the galaxy was re-shaped and reforged by activating the anomaly which was, a giant Galactic Warp Gate, with unknown origins. Through it, a savage race called the Vyrr arrived. It was the pure form of combining organic life with sentient synthetic organisms. They presented to the Triumvirate as:

"We are the Vyrr. We will bring a new form of existence in your galaxy. We will harvest your technology and assimilate your organic life."

And that was the moment when the war begun. After years of continous fights and losses, Dave managed to get into Vyrr hands because of an unexpected ambush on a contested system. The Vyrr saw that Dave Synk was capable of creating great progress to the Vyrr expansion so he modified him with advanced technology, augmentation, neural capacities that were extremely high, and even his freedom, but with one price, he lost his life forever, his thoughts were controlled, observed, analized and even more, the Vyrr asked Dave to make for them a gateway to his universe. He mostly refused, but something happened that turned Dave against his own race. The Vyrr brought Ashley Fox infront of him. The one he lost almost 10 years ago into a tragic event within a rare phenomena called "Phase Jump Hole". That system apparently was in a sector controlled by the Vyrr. Back then, Dave and his LSF squadron including Ashley, faced for the first time the Vyrr, without knowing. They kept her in perfect state as he last saw her. She was preserved into some stasis field for years with other specimens across the various galaxies the Vyrr travelled.

Dave didn't knew what to do, he was totally confused. The Vyrr deceived Dave by using Ashley, promising him that along with the augmentation and his ship being totally reconfigured with Vyrr technology, he would need to lead attacks, Vyrr attacks, on the key stations and locations across the galaxy that were ownd by the Core Federation. He accepted. His former admiral and other acquaintances from the CF, were shocked when they saw a full Vyrr force being led by the warship called "Thanix". To achieve his goal, he neutralized his former captains, admirals, even collegues from various wings, the Core Federation was collapsing. In the end the galaxy was controlled by the Vyrr. Then, they sent Dave back to Sirius, without giving Ashley back. He then realized how fallen he was and the deceive the Vyrr made. But he couldn't thought his indoctrinated mind. Despite that fact, the dimensional warpout, affected the controlling systems that The Vyrr put into Dave's head. He managed to lead Cerberus from the shadows and bring technological advancement by using Vyrr technology. Nobody from Cerberus ever saw Dave in person since when he arrived back into Sirius.

It was an experience he will never forget. So he initiated later the project Icarus. To make the Vyrr arrive back into the actual Sirius star cluster. The Vyrr don't know what they will expect "on the other side".

As Dave left the hangar bay's from Wichita. He arrived to the coordinates that the supposed rendez-vous should happen. He waited for the rest of the summoned officers to arrive.

Dave : Nex, calibrate the warp engines set coordinates for Icarus.
NEX : Yes Dave, also, heads-up from Icarus Station. The Bridge is fully operational.
Dave : Excellent...
