Swearing changes.

So, the current swear filter stops you from saying mean words and hurting people's feelings. This also helps to avoid corrupting small children, since we all know that children who hear too many swear words grow up to rob banks and do drugs.

Now, this filter is all fine and dandy and nice, but I feel it breaks roleplay to not swear. This is space. Space is tough. People swear. Now, I'm not saying that we should let people drop F-bombs at will, as nothing would get done. Would it be possible to modify FLHook so that instead of giving you a green message for swearing, it changes JUST the swear word into another, less extreme variant? For example:

"I'm going to -effing- kill you!"

Becomes

"I'm going to frakking/flipping/frenching kill you!" The line is still said, the message is still conveyed, the player is not insulted.

"You piece of -fecal matter-!"

Becomes

"You piece of dung/crap/detrius" As above. I sometimes type in swear words because it's natural. I don't want to have to erase everything I just said and redo it, especially in the middle of battle when that could get me killed. Now, this is more a game mechanic issue than a rules issue but if it could be implemented it would work better than a green wall of swearblocking.
