7- and 8-gun gunboats

This goes for GBs too...

Wow ... okay. Only a couple of the heavy gunboats have blind-spots that are on the plane, the Tridente mainly. The rest of them have blindspots on the vertical axis, which the game engine protects (auto-level, camera blocking, etc). KuEx and Bret GB have no unprotected area on the plane. Imperator has 8 guns forward and back and 6 each side, with a tiny little area in the rear corner which only has 4 turrets. And so on. All of them have more turrets to the rear than the KuGB has in total.

This is only a problem now because TS makes it easy to shoot backwards. In 4.85 you had to change camera and give up steering to shoot backwards, so the old arcs were balanced then. Caps got rebalanced when turret-splitting was done. Gunboats were not rebalanced, and need to be, so they cannot just go into turret mode and shoot 360 degrees at everything in range.

For those of us that dont fly into a planet everytime we stumble into hostiles it would be nice to have some balance in the class
