Thank you for the quick reply.

I completed a fresh install of Freelancer + Disco, auto-updated, and installed this mod as I did before. But the HUD is still in 4:3 mode in the middle of the screen.

If HUDshift is included, can/should I use it without the OP's method?

1) Is this your first installation of Discovery v4.86?

2) When installing, did you make sure to select Hudshift as being activated?
If not, it can be activated manually.
