Guten Abend verehrte Damen und Herren,
my name is Thomas Bergmann. Hereby I transmit my application for a job as a miner or transport pilot at Daumann Heavy Construction.
I was born 25 years ago on planet Nuremberg deep within the Munich system. My father was a miner, just working for himself, he always wanted to be independent. I graduated from the Nuremberg School of Economics when I was 19. After that, I studied geology and mineralogy.
From that point I was working for myself too. My father taught me everything you can about mining and long-distance transportation.
I managed to earn enough credits to afford my own mining ship, the "Stralsund". I love the loneliness in the vast asteroid fields of Rheinland and the Omegas as well as the beautiful nebulas, knowing they can be as deadly as beautiful.
You might ask about my mother... well to be honest.... she left us when I was 2 years old, so I never got a real chance to get to know her, just because I was too young to understand it.
I want to work for Daumann, because I know there are limitations if you are just mining for yourself, to maximize the profit you need a well trained and efficient group of miners, transport captains and - of course - escort pilots. These factors are provided by Daumann Heavy Constructions and my dream is to become a part of it!
I think I have the requirements to perfectly fit into your companionship, as a miner and a transport captain as well.
I have the theoretical and practical knowledge of where and how to mine and transport ore and other products in an efficient way.
My finished degree give me a lot of understanding in mining and transportation and I want to share this knowledge with the company.
And - last but not least - I live my life with an outstanding motivation and commitment to what I feel I am born to do - mining and shipping.
I will always remember, what my father told me when I was 16:
"Make your decisions, and never look back! Aim for the moon - even if you miss, you will land among the stars"
Thank you in anticipation for your fast respond.
I have attached a copy of my diploma and the certificate of good conduct issued by the Rheinland Federal Police of Nuremberg.
