Story Alexandria Drydock (Codename Defibrilator) had been set up to enhance the repairs on Thebes, but it took some time until the Order was able to recognize the possible problem for Thebes' core failures.
Though the nomad power cells aboard the experimental dreadnought were synchronized - at least scientists believed in this at that time - the jumpdrive failed, rendering Thebes immobile in Omicron Mu.
The Order Science division might have a solution to solve a problem with the conductors to synchronize the nomad power cells and revive the main engines on Thebes again, but that means they'd need scans from nomad structures in order to get a hint on how to proceed.
Although the nomad controlled systems nearby would be the next possible sources, they are heavily defended, making any flight to them a suicide mission.
Moreover, with such a mission, the Order's new home Omicron Mu might be detected by the nomads, which has to be avoided at all costs!
Order High Command decided to set up a combined fighter unit escorting a vessel of the Science Division and get the scans from the nomad structures in Newcastle and Chester, as both systems are the only alternatives which pose a significant less threat for the Order. Still the mission forces will have to be cautious as the
nomad city in Newcastle is surveilled by the Bretonian Armed forces and the Hive
in Chester might still be active.
Goal
The Order will escort an Order|SD ship to the nomad bases in Newcastle to get scans from the nomad structures there. At this time, it is unknown if the mission forces will be detected by Bretonian Armed forces or nomad entities will pose a threat to the agents.
Order forces will move in first and get a secure area for the scaning vessel which will immediately being the scans. About a few minutes later, an Armed forces patrol will stumble upon the Order forces. What will happen then has to be seen...
Should any threat appear, an equivalent force will deal with hostile forces while some backup will stay near the scanning ship.
Should most of its escorts be wiped out, the scanning ship will leave the are at once, as all results so far have to be secured at all costs!
Participants:
Order Side: Order| , Cerberus and 141|
IMPORTANT:
Should there any fight break out between Bretonians and Order (which it will most likely), both sides will attack the fighters with equivalent forces. As Order has more fighters then BAF, those who are too many, will stay near the scanning vessel and act as last line of defense.
So to speak consider this a "scripted" event. The scanning ship will get out of there, but due to the interruption of BAF, it will only get about 50% of the information that was possible.
