Yeah right, after a year on Disco, You'l still be trying to learn new people how to RP.
Boooring. They want something new. Exotic. Fresh.
As i said, i do agree with your points, but you have to understand people around here.
Comparing with the real-world isn't helping, really.
FL has nothing in common with the real world. Even physics is screwed up.
You are trying to fix one thing that is not worth fixing.
Why don't you bark on : "1 mil or die" pirates?
There are people out there with matching ships (with their IDs) who have no clue about RP.
They just go around and pwn.
"Pvp anyone? lol ;p" etc etc.
If I was to ask, i would give a Corsair dread to an Outcast if he knows to RP right (in-game, on board, whatever), rather then to a Corsair who wants it just to pwn other people.
And no, i didn't say this :
Quote:Being here for longer than someone else shouldn't make you "favored", and if it does just tell me now, 'cause I'll call it quits and you won't have to deal with me anymore.
Yes, their opinion might be worth more to other people then yours, you can't change that.
They know them, they don't know you.
But being "favored" is not an issue. They are not.
They would be fined just as anyone else for any rule-breaking or OORP behavior.
As i said, after a year playing this game, you get bored.
Every day same things happen, and then you try to make something different, with an RP story (or how would you call it, "creative writing") to support it.
If you stay that long here, you will see what i mean.
I'm not here to argue, as i said, i support both of you.
I just think you can find someone else, who writes an RP story for PVP reason, instead of Harly.
That's all.

It is every Corsair's responsibility to die a beautiful death in defense of Crete, regardless of how OORP or how capwhoring the opposition is. Launch your fighter, joust the battlecruisers and die a beautiful death. Then, drink it down in the bar.
