As in, you aren't allowed to go ooRP at all, not even if group or private channels. That might help, but then it's already nigh-impossible to enforce the rules we currently have.. =/
I'd like to log on the server one day and find that everyone above level 30 is roleplaying. That'd be really nice, you know?
Right now even alot of your older players go OOC constantly, and don't really make any effort at all to add to the atmosphere. There has to be a way to change this.
Perhaps there could be a sort of rewards system for roleplayers who're consistent? Maybe if an Admin spots you roleplaying well you'll get some free credits, or perhaps a unique weapon/equipment item? I'm not sure, really.
.. In my last roleplaying community, we had what was known as an "roleplaying rating." This rating was dynamic and could change at anytime, for better or for worse, depending upon what actions your character took and why he took them. This was judged by veteran players who knew the setting and the world entirely. Every six minutes your rating would give you an small experience point bonus, which wasn't much, but would accumulate after so long into something worthwhile.
Maybe we need a similiar system? FL doesn't have experience points, but certainly there's something that can be used instead?
