We just had a fight in New York. The LR and AR combined managed to assemble two fighters, two destroyers (later on, only one got in the fight though) and a battleship.
The opposing force consisted of a BH BS (independant), ATLEAST 2 Cruisers (independant) ATLEAST a BC (independant), a couple of gunboats (1 is LSF, other is independant), and a couple of fighters (one is independant, one is LSF).
Now i wouldn't really mind this is we were attacking them but as it went we were just assembling at Rochester when the LSF turned up, spotted our BS and sent a system-wide message for all "lawfuls" (we all know that means every person that can spend a few days trading) to come to Rochester and own us. Result? Us all either dying or running away and going to play traders 'cos we're bored of logging on to cap fleets waiting to tear us to pieces.
Can we PLEASE put some sort of restriction on cap ships? It really is getting out of hand when you end up with more independant caps than the faction they're helping and the faction they're fighting combined...

It wasn't quite as unbalanced as you claim.
1 bs vs bs
2 cruisers vs 2 cruisers (not our fault one of yours didn't make it after the crash)
Battlecruiser? (I don't recall there being any BCs at the fight, though maybe it showed up and I didn't notice it)
You guys kinda came at a bad time, just after we assembled a fleet to defend zone 21 from a corsair fleet.
I was going to switch to my LF, but when I heard reports of enemy battleships/destroyers, I brought in the big stick. Next time you wish to have fight with no capships, I suggest not bringing any yourselves.
Iâll carry this flag
To the grave if I must
Because itâs flag that I love
And a flag that I trust
