Guten Abend,
Today was a truly interesting day. Unfortunately, the cameras on my light fighter aswell as the transport did not work properly, so I can't provide a picture footage of the events.
Anyway, I recently changed the good old Colossus for a Stork. Although it served me and my crew very well and had emotional value, it has taken damage that made the ship instable, so we decided to get a Stork, as it is build on the Oder shipyard aswell and some fine quality work of our company.
In the first few days, it has proven what it's worth. Agility, indirect protection from the cargo holds, a small and effective design. We already like it and it's already survived many trips from and to Bretonia.
Next up, some interesting events from today.
Some Aluminium Ore, freshly mined in Munich, heading to Leeds. On the way back, we stopped at King's Cross and took some Beryllium aswell as some newspapers among other consumer goods back to Rheinland.
After we arrived in Stuttgart, we noticed a vessel of the Sirius Revolutionary Coalition Army in the system. Do they really name themselves like that? Next time, choose a shorter name. How about simply Coalition Scum? Uh, where was I? Right..
Close to Freiburg Station, I contacted a Rheinland Military Patrol consisting of Major Hermann and Vizeadmiral Sittlingen who happened to be in Stuttgart and asked about the lane status, whether it is safe to proceed to New Berlin.
As I arrived on Stuttgart, I met both of them and they offered to provide me an escort to my destination. Well, I accepted and safely arrived on Dortmund Station, where I unloaded the Beryllium and took some Mining Machinery aswell the consumer goods I already had to the final destination of Raubling. I safely arrived there without bandit contact.
I suppose two competent Military pilots with Daumann constructed ships, armed to the teeth, just scare them off. *chuckles lightly*.
Anyway, a few hours the same thing, Aluminium to Leeds, go back with Ship Hull Panels this time, to construct even more ships on our shipyards.
In Omega-3 we encountered a corsair pirate. At first I was really bothered about the cargo, but lucky for us the pirate just wanted one hull panel, his hull had some leak or something. I really have to say, you don't often encounter these kind of people.
If more of those were around, you would not need to worry about the safety of your crew all the time.
At the end of the day my crew already had their shift over, ready to hit the bar.
Well, I prolonged mine a bit to fill more transports. I successfully filled the Fulda and the Stuttgart and then finished off the evening with a nice beer - after I arrived on New-Berlin, don't worry!
Have a good evening!
*holds a beer glass infront of the screen* Cheers!
