"Steel plating?"

"Steel has never been used for hulls in space travel since... Well, ever, as far as I know. It's simply not suitible for such use."

Rasmus clicks a few links on his datapad.

"Modern ship hull panels are made of a hydrocarbon and polymer base layered with basic and super alloys and infused with boron fibres. We actually make those in Dortmund. They are some of the best on the market. Far better than any recycled scrap you can find in Sigma-13. We are currently supplying Alster and Yukawa shipyards."

He looked at Nelly and interupted himself.

"Oh, right. About the cooperation with Republican."

"I have no qualms about taking down Daumann a notch or two, but we are already allied with Gateway Shipping. It's already difficult being allied to two competing mining factions, and now we are to ally with two competing shipping companies as well? I do of course see the benefit of this joint project and I fully approve of it, but outside that, how far can we go without crossing Gateway?"
