God dag.
A fine day or us yesterday, indeed! Rheinland Military seems to have a new, very powerful enemy. They are those strange people who have suddenly emerged from the north-western borders of Bretonia, the Gauls. I have yesterday encountered one of their battleships, named Bordeaux. Nothing impressive, overall. A bit less armored that a common "turtle", with even less regeneration material, less secondary guns, but two more primaries. She had a shape for decent strafing up and down, though. Her artillery was a bit stronger than our, but less energy efficient. Same for her other guns. There are only two things I am worried about - she has a forward gun, TWICE more powerful than our, and there are loads, loads of them, there, in the Taus and the Bretonian front. This one has managed to brake trough using a jump drive. So, when it encountered me, it was forced to stop and have a talk. At first I thought it is a Rheinlandian prototype, but Ernest, my forward gun operator, happened to be an educated man, so he knew a bit about them. The second thing I wanted to know was Gallic stance towards us. I made the captain shoot two of their heavy mortars, or heavy trebuchets, how they call them, at the Schwerin, including two missiles. Then he shot down four Valkyres. I was content, so I let the ship go. The captain said he was escorting a transport, which was single and not very large, so I assume his real mission was something else. Whatever it was, it isn't good for the Military.
