Salvaging the last intact Dornier 17 from the North Sea

I take my hat off there, that is astounding. Most equipment in conditions that hostile would either seize up or just break. My, prejudice to American equipment in the early 40's is that of poor mass manufacturing. But that story and video smashes my prejudice out of the water for the P-38, and that plane is a bloody hero.

P-38 is a great plane, sadly shadowed by the P-51 Mustang.
