To the friendly chaps of the IND

[Crackpunch]

Hey there, I’m Barret, the Director of Libertonian operations for the Junker Congress. I’ve come to you to discuss a matter of reasonable importance.

Now, where to begin? I found myself in Colorado, looking to thwart any significant Xeno activity as any good citizen would, when I spotted something strange. It was a train bearing IND markings deep in an asteroid field inhabited by some of the most cutthroat terrorists in Liberty.

Now, I know the good people of IND aren’t stupid, so why would they send a lone transport into hostile territory?
Maybe the territory wasn’t so hostile after all.
There was also a Xeno transport present at the time, strangely, he made no effort to steal from the transport, maybe the IND pilot and the Xeno were good pals.

What really got my attention was the contents of the IND train. A sizeable stockpile of, well, see for yourself:



So we've got am unguarded transport rocking up into Xeno territory, loaded with nukes, then leaving unscathed, save for a few credits leaking into my account.

Hmm, what's this? IND doesn't give out credits to random Junkers. Not unless said Junker had seen something he shouldn't have.

In addition to the credits, I received some rather ambiguous words regarding not talking for safety reasons. Almost as if I would be safer if I didn't talk about what I had just seen.

Now, this isn’t good for business. First of all, the Xenos are one of our nastiest enemies, and so we don’t want to see them toting even more dangerous weaponry. Then of course there’s the Liberty Navy, I can’t imagine they want Xenos having nukes either. Hell, I can’t imagine the general public liking the idea of a big corporation handing out weapons grade material to terrorists.

Why haven’t I gone straight to the people who would like to have this information the most? Because your man in the train was a gentleman, and so I hoped we could work this all out.
