Good to hear from you again. First off, we are glad to hear that you are enjoying the new meal offerings aboard Doe Industries Space Port. Having sampled them myself, I can testify that they're top of the line. We spared no expense.
On the topic of Platinum Incorporated in Alberta, your continued service in the system has been duly noted and the board has decided to extend a promotion to the rank of Skipper, as well as the position of "Corporate Liason for Alberta Operations". You will be appropriately compensated and assigned an office aboard Camrose Supply Depot in order to work more closely with Platinum and their two facilities. Please let us know what you think of the offer.

Ms. Fargo:
This is troubling news. With its proximity to Planet Pittsburgh and the surrounding debris field, I've always had my concerns about micrometeorite strikes and the potential Kessler effect on Doe Industries Space Port. About the thermoregulation system, I'm perusing Chief Nelson's report as we speak and we applaud your initiative and are promoting you to the position of Technician, with all the clearance and responsibility it entails.
Seeing as you're now an active Technician in the region with a ship equipped for the task, we have a potential work assignment for you:
Deploy micro-sensor arrays around Planet Pittsburgh out to a radius of 6km
Collect samples from at least three distinct regions of the debris field (if your ship cannot be fitted with an analyzer suite in time, we can collect the samples for processing aboard DISP)
If possible, make a basic recommendation on the best location for a potential future defense station
Provide a final report of the operation
Best of luck with the assignment. Please let us know if you require any assistance before you proceed.
