And it doesn't take too much to build up a base to a level to be already near invincible.

Really? A base needs to be at about L2 and have a shield to be pretty strong requiring at least a day to take down under a heavy siege, not to mention the cash you'll spend on stocking fuel levels high to power shield for ages, plus it takes a lot of trading to get a base to that L2 stage with a shield.

I wouldn't say it doesn't take much, you're talking about 2-3 people spending probably a week to get a base to that level, and trading pretty much none stop.
