about zone 21 : if the official forces agree that zone 21 is rather used for RP as a "no-go" place, isn t it better to petition to shut it down with the next update? - no sarcasm here.
on Cheshire, i use it as long as i am permitted, recently i usually ask the official forces ( if they are around ) - in the end, there are BHGs on the other side, aren t there? - however, if i was denied to go through alaska, i d simply use the next shortest route through tohoku ( unless the KNF shuts THAT one down one day, too - cause in the end, tohoku is allmost as mystical and secret as alaska, isn t it? - leaves the journey through the omicrons, which at least the guild knows - but certainly no house guard.
mind you, if liberty doesn t know about gamma - they will never get a supernova for their bombers and a lot of other gear will be restricted, too if we apply RP to all systems. bretonians do not know about omega-49 and gran canaria, omega-55 / 58 are maybe known to explorers and the order, gamma / alpha are not known to any inner sphere person.
the lawfuls are shooting their own foot when they start to RP every gate ( and limit themselves to the rather weaker gear - yet its more in RP, no doubt .. but maybe not so funny when corsairs attack with supernovas, while all liberty bombers can only mount sunslayers, cause they have no way to get to any place a SN is sold, if they stay in RP. )
about shields:
its not so widely known what faction uses what shields. - and i gotto admit, i usually choose brigandine ( positron ) shields... why? - i don t know, - i don t like graviton shields and molecular ones sound silly. when its about shields, i never really think about their effectivness much.
