Skoko didn't try to enforce any new rules or anything Etaphreven, he was just pointing out that our Navy should actually in fact be..a Navy, far stronger than it is now. We've got some average and some good pilots in the SA, and almost no caps, now in my opinion we should be stronger in firepower than the LSF at least. I have characters in the SA and i'm also the same rank as Skoko in the USS, I can tell you that if our two factions were to merge somehow, the SA would at least get some valid firepower so they don't get laughed at by the pirate battleships/destroyers and other cap ships...
As it is right now, every time we fight enemy cap ships the SA has to call in either the LSF or the USS, and it should not be that way. I just hope we can cooperate to work on some better RP and some way for the USS to become more useful to the SA in general. Now I know that as almost any faction the USS also has some "bad apples" but we're trying to root these out at the moment and it wont take that long before USS becomes a very good part of our Liberty RP and security. We've had issues and problems in the past, with us being called cap whores and everything...I can't say that we weren't, but we've grown, read the rules ( quite a few times:P ), and we're writing a nice little RP story for the USS, in fact we have quite a few stories but we can't decide on which is best.
But in short, all I wanted to say is, I hope that future cooperation between the USS and the SA is possible seeing as me and Skoko play in both factions and they're not that much different, the SA has the advantage because of a more established history on the server and the chain of command, while also being an official faction. USS is unofficial and we're not sure if we'll make it official or just incorporate it into the SA if we get permission, that is a matter we'll have to discuss with the SA high command. But until then, I do hope you'll see us in some new light, that is, that we are really trying hard to RP all this well and to get accepted by the community. Not all of us speak english that well so RPing properly is sometimes difficult, but we try to maintain a certain degree of dignity and I can say that i'm quite proud of some USS members that are putting a lot of effort into improving both their english and their RP. Hope this made some things clear..and of course I hope some people can help us out by trying to RP with us.
