- Where was your last place of employment? What experience do you have?
Technically it could be said that I still am employed by Her Majesty. Some of your boys may have seen the Victory out and about, I'm one of the captains worthy enough to be on the roster for her. As for experience, that'd be moving one of the most precious cargoes around safely for quite some years, with more mundane shipping before that since I was a young man.
- To what division are you applying?
That'd be the Shipping Division for me.
- Why are you interested in working for Border World Exports?
Given the troubled times and all, Her Majesty doesn't get on as many cruises and visits as She'd probably like. Even if I was the only captain of her liners, it's not a full time job. Serving the Kingdom by moving regular cargo is some way to doing even more for my part.
- You happen across a Gateway convoy that is under attack by Red Hessians. What do you do and why?
That would depend on the strength of our and the revs' sides. I hardly need to tell you the power of a few dozen Banger turrets hammering onto some vagabond, and I've popped a few Corsairs and some of our homegrown pirates too. If we can safely do so, an attempt at increasing that number can show our superiority; who knows, maybe the independent gets dented in the crossfire as well.
If we're endangering our own cargo too much, move on and call in our boys in red or the other local authorities if we're further afield.
- You encounter a corporate trader of Gallic origin. It croaks mockingly at you. What do you do and why?
A bit of Gallic humour is nothing compared to the rapier wit of a Bretonian. There's only one real kind of Royalist, and they support the Queen!
I've heard their ships are nothing compared to ours, and we can't let the Privateers have all the fun.
- How do you feel about Glaswegian badgers?
People say that these were sent by the Devil himself, but to me it seems like he's only their puppet. Never make eye contact if you want to keep your soul intact, and a friend of mine... let's just say he was lucky to already have some kids.
- Were you referred to Bowex by a Bowex) or BMM- employee?
I was not, but a Royal stamp of approval should be a boon of sorts. I've had Sir Cromwell's acquaintance at an event or two if he happens to recall me.
