Back in the day when we had a server crashing with 160 people online, we were discussing if we should keep Discovery as a much more secluded place and introduce it to potential RPers instead of the mass public. You know. The reason we stopped placing it on ModDB...?
If thats true then I think that is sad, then again considering the Mod is still available for Download on ModDB: http://www.moddb.com/mods/discovery-free...486-exiles , I dont see how thats true. Discovery should be the "goto" place for anyone who installs freelancer on their computer. As we all know Discovery is the last bastion of Freelancer, when Discovery Dies Freelancer Dies.
@ Everyone:
There are many ways to market a game mod, google advertising pay per click is a sure fire way to get peoples attention, so anyone who googles freelancer will have Discovery pop up in the first 5 Links. But that is very expensive, there are other advertising mediums namely other gaming forums / communities but it would be up to individual members here to spread the word so to speak.
