Joshua who was not the biggest of figures but had the confidence of a roaring lion and the brains of a genius walked into the office B6.
The clunking of the metal floor against his shoes did slightly unnerve him.
He sat down in the conveniently placed chair, he was slowly letting his eyes wander onto the many medals placed on the walls.
"Tell me son why do you want to join the army?" The rather muscular recruiter said to him whilst turning on the voice recorder.
"Well my family has a very long and inspirational history with the army so I felt honoured in the time of need of this colony to take up the reigns of war!" He held his smirk back trying not to show how impressed he was with himself.
The officer smiled "So a true patriot to our country we don't have many of them any more, nether more have you had any previous experience?
"Yes sir my father who used to be in a very well highly ranked fighter squadron once taught me how to fly and said I was a natural talent for it. Sadly he could not be here today he died on Leeds with his men"
Once he had stopped speaking the officer continued "Well you sound like a very useful asset to our army I will review this further later" The recruiter turns off the voice recorder.
Joshua eager to get home to his family walked out of the recruitment centre into the pouring rain filled world named "New London". Waiting for a letter of acceptance to arrive, one day he thought to himself one day.
