Proposed Event: Bowex) Vs. Gateway| Furball

Black Widow. On behalf of the Bowex command, thank you for posting this idea without discussing with us first. You'll find that we are very opposed to this idea.

Now, you may be wondering why. The first reason being this line:

No. Just no. The Government would choose its method of transport before contact. The methods of choice is Bowex and the Merchant Navy, seeing as they are under the direct control of the crown (MN more through BAF command, but the principle idea applies). Gateway is not a crown affiliate, more a independent corporation with Bretonian origins. Why choose those you do not have a substantial control over?

Then we come to the line:

best Bretonian Company who should be awarded the contract

Once again, why bother? Choose the company, stop wasting time. Not sure if Gateway had noticed the Gallics on our doorstep means we don't have time to mess around with "competitions".

And the final problem that relates to that:

has to try and stop the other from delivering as much cargo as possible

Please remind me which side in this war Gateway supports? The actions of Gateway and it's "raiding parties" means crown funds are being wasted replacing ships and cargo lost, that should be focused on the war effort. Is Gateway really that caught up in its own selfish gains that it cares not for how it's actions hurt the House of Bretonia.

So what I am saying, is Bowex) will have no part in this. Enjoy this alone, and enjoy aiding the Gauls, because Bowex sure as hell will NOT attack Gateway in time of war.

We know who the real enemy is.

Well that's a very disappointing revelation from our corporate rivals, the whole point of this event is to generate some activity and fun between sides!

I think your reading too much into the RP background of the event, a government contract can be easily tweaked to a more reasonable RP reason for the event. It dont have to be a contract.

Your complete lack of interest or willingness to partake in this event is very sad but I guessed your reaction does not come as a surprise to me.

Your groups activity is lacking and I am just trying to make things more interesting, dont blame me when your bored sitting there with nothing to do!
