Currently, just the looks. Having engines with different stats is something we're already considering though. So who knows, might actually happen in one of the post-beta updates.
While on the subject of engines, and before people start complaining about how confusing their names are: Current engine infocards are placeholders and soon as their final infocards are ready, I'll be updating them server-side. For the time being, just check their description to see which engine is which.
