Short Bio: My off world adventures started when I was 16 and I met a Zoner
captain on a Corvo cruiser "Lazarus". He was looking for a ship's apprentice.
Being an orphan with few ties left on Planet Denver, I made the decision to
take him up on his offer to learn all the valuable training with the possibility of
commanding a hip of my own some day. Six years later, when my training
was complete I became the youngest Executive Officer in the Zoner fleet. One
day while putting into port at Scarborough in the Newcastle system I bumped
into a ship's captain who had known my parents many years ago. He was
employed with Bowex Corperation He told me that the Board of Directors were
always looking for trustworthy captains to bring potential investors to visit some
of the wonders of Sirius. This time it would be the Golden Dragon Casino located
in the Tottori system. This was for Kings, Princes, Heads of State, Billionaires
and the ship's captains who brought them thire, figuiring that on a captain's pay
they would not dare to wager anything. Being young and stupin and with plenty
of time to make up for my losses, I figured I would bet it all. Each hand I would
wager 2 or 3 months. I would win some and lose some.I was holding my own
all night but at the last round I needed to call the ships agent to muster all of
the available credits I could get my hands on. One of the last 3 players was one
of my rich invester passangers, Mr. Fence. When it was time to show the cards
he had a smirk on his face and an inside straight. I had bet everything I owned. I
fanned out my hand, 1, 2, 3, 4 TENS. I won big time. Mr. Fence was a sore
loser and called the home office and got me fired. I need not work again but that
is not my style. I want to purchase a transport and build something for my
future family.
Why do I want to work for Daumann: Good question. As I have travelled around
Sirius, I have been impressed by the people that work for your company. All
were hard working and willing to give a helping hand to a ship in distress.
Why should Daunann want to hire me; I am a task oriented individual, able to
stay focused and will not fold under pressure.
