Warning!! This thread has Zoner-related content! If you've have enough of that issue, turn back now. Please refrain from turning this into a blame-game of some sort.
1)
First question is the Zoner-related one.
It's a bit hard for me to explain right, so I hope you can follow my logic.
Let's say that we wish to build a POB in contested territory. (Which much of Edge/Borderworld are)
If we open our doors to lawful faction, we are fair game for unlawfuls and vice verca.
If we wish to negotiate an agreement of protection with either lawful or unlawful factions, we will automatically be alienated be the ones of the opposite alignment.
In case of retalliation, safety isn't even guaranteed, as the base would not belong to the allied faction and therefore a loss of the base would not be as important as if it was their own.
I hope you follow so far.
My question is. How are Zoners supposed to defend their bases and remain neutral?
Will they not be 100% at the mercy of other people's mood?
I mean this as a legitimate question from a newcomer, not a omfg-dont-remove-caps comment!
Please don't just say:
"Yah, well the devs just don't wan't us to protect ourself, wha wha..."
Serious comments/explanations is MUCH appreciated!
2)
This is a more of a general technical question.
Is it possible to implement some sort of 'A and B' list, so you can set different prices for different people?
Ex:
List A: Everyone
Can sell <itemX> for 1000
Can buy <itemY> for 3000
List B: Certain Names/Tags
Can sell <itemX> for 1500
Can buy <itemY> for 2500
Maybe it's been asked many times before, but found nothing in my quick search.
Thanks in advance for any answers.
