The "Seriousness" level of RP these days

This is a 12 year old spaceship game that only a handful of people know/care about, that really contributes nothing to society or life.

It's hard to take anything from something like that seriously, yes, even some in-depth RP that people have spent years on. It's nice, but I don't really "care" about it, or take it seriously.


EDIT: And as Scum said, you -shouldn't- take it serious either, it's a freaking game.
