Sorry for being at work and not able to respond to your beck and call Zelot. I'll try to be faster next time.
Those that were adversely effected were those that had alt accounts banned, while other alt accounts were allowed to roam free.
Rules should be enforced equally, and so the choice was to go through and check everybody's accounts to see if they were using alts, or to amend the rules to state what we were already doing; letting those who use alt accounts in a non trollish manner slide (turn a blind eye), and still punish trolls under 1.2. We opted for the later.
You were an admin, you know that we know who the nuance accounts belong to, and have ways of finding out. Just because someone is using an alt account to troll doesn't mean that their main account won't be punished as well. Just as a server violation doesn't always impact only the character that committed it.
