People will try as hard as they can to go "Hey, it's Omicron 74 Mark Three, but in Lolberty", because, let's be honest, secretly most of the server enjoyed the abject chaos Omicron 74 Mark's One and Two triggered. I certainly did, I was there the whole way through from January to December, and it provided me with some of my most memorable moments in Disco.
Most of us accept that this is all behind us. Stone just wants to make a workable faction, Drake's Wolves has ironed out most of the RP kinks, and, give it a fortnight or two people will find something else to laugh at. Remember, any new idea is subject to intense, weeding scrutiny as part of the mandatory Disco 24/7 survivability test. Even if people Rp in a none-controversy inducing manner, you will still get the odd grump.
Hell, I've had people act cynically towards Ed and mine own faction concept because we've roleplayed too darn' much. You will not please everybody, as Laddie infers.

Edit: It would be a good idea to acknowledge administrator feedback to some degree. Remember, if you ever run to officialdom in the far future, these will be the people who will be judging your suitability. These people also know how the Disco psyche operates - pay heed to the demigods.
To start off I'd just like to say thanks for the kind words.

As the former leader of the Zoner Alliance when it first started I myself have taken a lot of abuse for a number of the things the ZA group did or didn't do.
But to sum things up.
Feel free to slander me or the name ZA all you like but give these new guys a break.
The newly formed Drakes wolfs may have one or two of the old ZA members in it
But that doesn't mean there gonna make all the same mistakes.
A lot of past events of the ZA would not of happend if it wasn't for other groups or factions making negative comments or threats.
But all in all I think the out come was a really big success.
The activity in the omicron 74 system took a massive jump in that year.
A short summery:-
The ZA arrived and started building.
This promoted RP and interaction with the AI's.
The ZA built another base under the lavidia shipyard.
This promoted RP with the phoenix,then the order started pocking there nosies in.
The ZA started building new bases by both jump wholes.
We get a lot RP from the nomads and threats from the order because of the weapon platforms.
The Order and a small group of people bunch together and declay all out war
on the ZA.
The System RP go's off the skale.
We got a mase of ships in the omicron system like you've never seen all trying to destroy both ZA core 4 bases
and trying to wipe out the ZA from existence.
I do believe that these Dark Wolves intentions like ours was not to annoy or lock off the system.
A lot of people jump to the wrong conclusions to easily.
As someone pointed out a short discussion and agreement to not put weapons on a base by a jh could of easily stopped the whole flaming thing.
But as we all know this place is full of people who just like to argue and try and make others look bad by flaming them into submission.
I really hope this does not happen to the [D-W] lot....
I'd like to see move server RP in the vesspucci system.
Its good for server promotion and life span of the 4.87 mod....
