I can't quite grasp this concept that people seem to derive a lot of pleasure in 'upsetting' others.
In most case the people on the otherside of the screen will forever remain, effectively, faceless (except for those that post pictures of themselves). I see a lot of so called hatred towards others within the Forums. The reality is, if you ever meet the others in RL, you could possibly become friends.
I find it sad that within this 'Faceless Society' of the internet people can't treat each other with respect. I, in RL, don't like some people, professionally and socially, but i treat them with respect. I don't 'go out of my way' to upset them and always talk to them civilly.
So, the question is, why can't we do it here?
