I do have an Asco, but seems like the Asco torps seem to be not available in many places. So, should I get rid of it and go with something else?
Also, why are people with Asco so OP?
Well, Asco is another matter. But still everything depends on the nerf you'll have on Asco.
Anyway use Asco with 4 solaris + 2 glaives, or with 5 basics +1 glaive.
If you've 90 or 100% power on Asco then set 5 solaris + 1 Glaive. Otherwise use only 4 solaris,or it'll drain your energy in no time. Furthermore, 2 Glaives have a bit advantage. You'll be able to shoot it to any direction, unlike one Glaive. Actually 1 Glaive is enough for instaing any snub (at least 90% of them).
What's about Asco torpedos, I'd suggest you making 2 Ascos: You'd leave 1 asco on that base in Gallia, and you'll move another one anywhere you like. So every single time you decide to log with asco and do something, you'll log your Asco(which is on the base in gallia), buy torpedos with it and ask someone in Conn to help you transfer them. It's just a matter of time. And it's really useful against caps.
What's about my loadout on asco, I've 5 basics and 1 Glaive on it, because It's much useful for group fights in Liberty, for some reasons. But I also have an asco with 4 solaris and 2 glaives in Rheinland, which is really nightmare for snubs.
P.S For individual fights Solaris Asco is much better than Basic Asco.
