That's because this game is bland and boring these days. All RP that is possible has pretty much been done at some point or another, fun interactions aren't as common as they used to be.
Yeah, someone sits in space for 2 hours hearing the same old "hey pilot, pirate at Texas JG, 2milordie, I'm a cop ima scan your cargo bay- uh oh you got 1 Cardamine pay 5 mil fine, engaging", so and and so forth, yeah, you can't blame them for striking up a small OORP conversation to break up the monotony. If you have a problem with this, either ask them to stop, if they do, great. If they don't, then either be a slight jerk and make a sanction report, or go away and find RP somewhere else.
What you shouldn't do, is come to the forums and complain about it, that rarely produces anything positive.

It's definitely a personal problem. It doesn't bother me if someone starts OORPing next to me, for it to NOT be a personal problem, it has to affect everyone equally, which it doesn't. Some people get pissed when other people type // messages, and some people are perfectly fine with it, so it's a matter of personal choice.

It's not about 2 - 3 times, it happens alot and pretty much ruins the Roleplay.
Again, that's your personal view on it, I don't feel that way really.
Personally, I think if you REALLY let OORP talk get to you THAT much, then you're taking this game too seriously. Just calm down, and enjoy Disco as a fun game to relax with and have fun, instead of taking the game overly serious and acting like someone just kicked your puppy for doing something completely harmless to you.
