Then add super high profit from mining and hauling prem scrap to Alpha, claiming neutrality with OC-aligned pirates (which is all) all the way there. It's a house zoner ID with a mining bonus in many ways, if you choose to play it like that. I think the players that really love junkers will go on playing them, even if the massive profit isn't there.
Junkers have been ignored by pirates, or most of them, since the beggining for what you said about bases. So, let's keep in mind that they have been always kind of piracy proof. But, thdy are not immune to lawfuls, so, where are they? Liberty forces, CR in coronado, GRN, KNF, IMG, UC (not lawfuls but well) and even BD, sure Hackers, Rogues, GC and OCs will ignore them, but there are a bunch of factions who could stop them, so why aren't they? In fact, the more junkers going to alpha, the more those should be stopping them. Immunity from pirates dont look like a major factor to me.
However, I do think prices for ALL commodities should be nerfed including ore, not just one. But that is not due to junkers.
Anyway, not the place to keep arguing about it, not for just this group. We should keep on talking in a different thread
