Also Chat on Forums 8| realy, I mean not everyone has Skype everywhere and some people just want to leave a message to someone and for that opening Skype is realy a pain in the a**. Also adding friends on forum may finaly have a purpose 8| a small chat box on the right lower corner maybe

Why don't you people use IRC? 8| I know it's a relic of the past, but for gods sake, it's useful!

As far as the topic is concerned - there is a plugin for MyBB that allows for such a thing to be added to the search engine. http://community.mybb.com/thread-71986.html

You can then bookmark a specific link (in this case, discoverygc.com/forums/search.php?action=unreads) and have these right away.
