Born to one of the richest families in Vigo. Xalo was one of four brothers of the Nunes family. The largest smuggler ring in the city during his childhood.

Xalo grew with a quite priviledged life. There wasn't much he wouldn't ask and receive soon after. However unlike his brothers, he was a bit more reckless and uneducated. During his years as a teenager, Xalo would constantly get on fights and brawls with his colleagues and friends. Most of the times he did this, were because he was drunk after stealing whiskey or vodka. The other times were simply because he felt bored and wanted to punch someone.

For a brief moment, Xalo worked as security for his family's deals. He was paid quite handsomely thanks to his grandfather, António Nunes's work selling weapons. There he learned how to use a variety of weapons, ranging from small person blasters to hunting rifles.

After some years , Xalo used a large portion of his money alongside a loan he asked to his family, to aquire a Correo vessel. Although his family believed he was going to use it to help them haul larger quantities of weapons and munitions to further locations, Xalo quickly stopped doing that after a few months claiming that he was bored of it. He then started making money by extorting pilots in the Cambridge and Omegas systems with his Correo. He would order the pilots to drop their cargo , which he would later bring back to Crete. Although he was no longer helping distribute firearms, his family didn't seem to be to upset as he kept money flowing their direction anyway.

At a certain point, Xalo met a man named Aetius. This man fascinated him with stories about the opportunities and credits he could get if he became a freelancer and worked alongside him. Not long after that, he started to feel trapped in the mundane of his regular days because of the stories that Aetius had filled his mind with. Xalo contacted him again after two months or so. Since then he has been working alongside Aetius and his organization , Freelancing Escorts and Repairs [FL-ER].
