My name is Adler Trumpf and I’m a transporter captain. Since I’m a child I’ve been watching large ship leaving my home planet New Berlin. I always have been fascinated by that. The noise, the vibrations and the sight of those ships were for me my destiny. It was crystal clear that I was to become one of their captains.
I finished university on a Friday and I remember that the day after I bought my first freighter with three other friends. Along them, were Hageland and Isenburg. The freighter was a wreck. I remember it was bound to be scrapped due to a breached hull. We certainly couldn’t repair that at the time. Nor had we the money to do so, nor had we the skills. That freighter just couldn’t leave New Berlin high atmosphere. But this wasn’t enough to discourage us from what destiny had chosen for us. We managed to link two companies on New Berlin. One was producing alloys that the other wanted for his business. By transporting those plain alloys from one point to the other, we successfully started to make benefits. One step at the time, we repaired the ship completely and were looking for new opportunities in Rheinland space. Business grew and we were able to have four Humpbacks quite quickly. Our enterprise needed a name and |CMB| was choosen. The rest of the story is known by Daumann I guess as the corporation bought our company few months later.
Why do you want to work for Daumann?
After the Hessian attack on Bergbau Depot in Koeln, I needed to make a career break. That episode was very hard for me. From the dreaming student on New Berlin to the administrator of a lucrative space station, all of that was destroyed in less that an hour. I just couldn’t restart at the time.
It’s been two years now since I haven’t flown a craft, command a crew or even set foot in space. It’s time to get back to work and face my destiny again. I need a ship and you need professional captains.
Why do you think Daumann should hire you?
Mainly, you already know my experience as a large transporter captain in the ore business. You know you can count on my skills. Moreover, along the years, I’ve made contact all over Sirius, contacts that are still valuable for your corporation. I don’t need any training as I still possess all the required licences and I know how to be profitable very quickly for Daumann.
