Three months ago, I started a community back-up service.(In real life) A lot of money is being made, and I thought it would be a great idea to bring it here. Only difference being the service would be free of charge! I have always been looking for ideas from real life to integrate them into the game somehow, and this is defiantly one of my better ones.
Backup & Recovery
Many back-up their own files. That is great. But mistakes happen often, and you loose your data, or your data has suddenly disappeared! Your sister needed that extra 5kb for that song transfer on your flash drive.:D
That is where this service comes into play. There will be a Dedicated partition on a business server that I operate, approximately 100GB in size. (I have 4 1TB drives, in the server box, so I'm never short on space.)
100GB may sound extreme, but I can service more than your FL ID's if required.
Disclaimer
The data that you want me to back-up will be safe, accounts and characters will not be used, sold, or modified in any way! Your privacy is protected. No information about anything, will be released, without owners permission.
Your information will be checked on a weekly basis, for security reasons and to make sure nothing is wrong with the data.
If you wish your account to be monitored as you are away, an arrangement can me made to keep your account and characters active. Accounts will not be modified during monitoring. Simply undocked for a period of 5 minutes every 2 weeks.
Donations
Donations are welcome. But the service is free. Monitoring may cost as it chews up extra time and I hate trading!:D
