Name: Werner Kepler Age: 28 Short bio: I was was born on December 27, the feast day of St. John the Evangelist, at the Free Imperial City of Weil der Stadt (now part of the Stuttgart Region). I studied astronomy after being fascinated by my brother's space telescope he kept on his little stargazer. After my birth, my family fortune started declining due to my mother's precarious spending habits and the declining economy combined with my father's retirement from the RFP due to loss of limb during an accident in a training mission. However, due to my excellent academic achievements, I was, at the age of 17 accepted to Tübinger Stift at the University of Tübingen with full scholarship. I graduated from the university with full honors.
Why do you want to work for Daumann?
I will be blunt. The work that Daumann provides is very profitable. It is also ideal for me because being a transport captain allows me the solitude I prefer while working on a dissertation or an academic report (barring the crew communications of course). Being a captain of such transport will also allow me to install a space telescope and study many many star systems as I jump from system to system hauling goods. It is a perfect work.
Why do you think Daumann should hire you?
As my academic credentials signify, I'm motivated and do not slack off on my work. I pay precise attention to details and make sure that deadlines are defeated. As a student of astronomy, I had several chances to travel off on my own or with a research team to many systems so I am also no stranger to the effects of travelling in space for lengthy periods of time. Although I was, at the time, mostly under the command of the research vessel captain, I believe I am ready to take my place as the captain of a transport vessel. As of now, I have managed to scrap together some loans to purchase a Colossus Rheinland Train, so providing for me will not be a liability for the company.
Thank you for your consideration,
-Kepler
