Golanski is the leader of the Order
I have always played a Zoner and in the past have been a member of the leadership of an official Zoner faction and the leader of an influential unofficial one.
Golanski tried to ruin the fun of both of said factions whenever he could.
experimenting with alien tech or hogging it for yourself makes the order mad, yknow
and by the looks of the rest of your post your suggestions as to what happens to the order is fueled by OORP hatred
