discovery is about, discovering, you choose a new character, it should be that that pilot has to find new places and trade routes and find friends/enemies to fly with/avoid, all in RP
what your thinking about is a quick easy way out of doing that, before there were easy restarts, players had to "rep" a ship, to be honest i think it should go back to doing that, it made the player work hard to make his character, it shouldnt be easy to do that
its like this
someone on ts/skype - "hey i need help i got enemy in *somewhere*, i need help "blahblah"
you - "ok ill quickly build something to help you" ....*does a restart something*
that is wrong to me, it shouldnt be that way, thats NOT discovery thats an easy quick method to go PEW, thats not what this server is about, is it?
so its the same as in mapping systems
go find it, yes you know its on another char you might have, but dont be lazy about it, do it yourself
