Wonky UI (Health/Shield), (FIXED)

I just came back from a long break from discovery and I seem to have gotten a unique issue.
For some reason the health and shield bars on other players or NPC's seems to be broken. This also applies to shipwrecks, but not base turrets for some reason.
The health and shield bars are both blacked as if they are empty, but it almost looks like a second bar is being displayed over the normal one.
I have attached a picture below to show the issue.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the base freelancer game along with re-updating the launcher but that hasn't worked.
Naturally I decided that my time would be best spent whining on the forum.

Anyone have any ideas on what could cause or fix this?
