It is a pleasure to hear back from you. Mr Hudson is temporarily unavailable, so I have taken over the proceedings as his direct manager. None of the goods we will be importing for the construction would infringe upon the laws of Liberty, therefore security concerns should not be a problem.

The keel of the ship has already been laid down at Scarborough, where it is currently moored in a semi-complete state. The basic superstructure is finished, as well as enough of the propulsion drives to enable it to traverse jump gates. Consequently we would like to tow it to its new berth as soon as possible - how soon could your drydock frame be prepped to accept it?

In any case, I have forwarded your very reasonable offers on to the Directors, who hope to make a decision as to your offer within 24 hours. We should be able to let you know whether we wish to make use of your facilities at that point.

It is a pleasure to hear from you. Mr Hudson is temporarily unavailable, so I have taken over the proceedings as his direct manager. There has been no sudden change in our intentions; our intentions were, and still are, to obtain drydock facilities to complete the construction of the aforementioned vessel.

The only surprising factor was the sudden request for us to provide 5 hegemon class miners. As Mr Hudson explained, that is currently beyond our capabilities and consequently, we are forced to view your offer as economically infeasible and to explore other options.

We would have been more than happy to allow you to submit our work crews to whatever training or orientation programs you felt were necessary. Alas, that was not the issue we were concerned with. As it happens, we have received a counter-offer from a 3rd party for the lease of drydock facilities at a sum of 10 million credits a week, with no other strings attached.

Should Daumann wish to match this offer, we would naturally be prepared to re-examine The Ring as a viable option. Beyond that, we do still greatly appreciate Daumann as a long term trade partner - this decision is only business. We greatly anticipate future cooperation with DHC, and the mutual profits that will entail.
